Yes, that’s his starting rate on Marshalls as it’s pretty much a ground up preamp build, not just a quick mod. His recto mods are a bit cheaper as far as I know because he doesn’t gut the entire preamp, but I never ordered one from him directly.

If you're happy with the amp that's all that matters, but 2250$ for a mod is fucking crazy, that's a price of a new amp.

last i heard he was sourcing components...

I’ve ordered 3 amps from him and owned another I got used. He has spurts of being very responsive and a little behind on messages. I’ve had most luck over Facebook messenger. If your amp is up he is always insanely responsive and sends pics of the build along the way.
His mods are pricey and the tone isn’t for everyone. But I really dig his stuff. I have a 5gs Marshall and a triple rec and don’t see them going anywhere. Congrats bram. That’s a rare amp and there’s really nothing like it.

Yeah, last response I got from him was the 1st. I responded on the 3rd and waiting to hear back, assuming he took the weekend off.

well shit, i sent him an email on 12/27 and never got a response back...maybe it went to spam folder or something.

He will from time to time. Mine basically was him saying he had a Marshall on the bench that he was about to gut, who wants it? And I jumped on it super quick lol.

Yeah that’s the email I had. I will say when he’s building your amp I have almost never had that many updates on a build. He was basically sending me an update daily where he was at with everything.
