How’s the bottom end hold together with those amps ?
Like when you put the levee on it,
Do they mush out or are the bass frequencies too prominent the more you turn it up?
I’m looking for an amp to take with me to hell & back.
I’ve been to hell enough times bro’ to tell you hell’s over rated.
The whole Born Under A Bsd Sign, bad luck’s better then no luck at all type shit.
Albert King.. a true born bossman.
Albert pioneered yelling at himself right before a guitar solo..so freakin rad man.
The pimp hand was just too damn strong..
SRV bit Albert’s style and would fully yell at his guitar before a guitar solo as well, fucking yell out loud..
-SRV does this before the 1st guitar solo in “Tightrope” at The Austin City Limits Show-in Austin Texas,great show!!!’
Not Mocambo super dope but dope AF fo’ sure.

I only have the one but if bass frequencies are your thing this wouldn't be the amp for you. He has a ton of clips on YT--the amp is not modern, it's a cut the lows and crank the mids type of amp to me. It could do SRV I think tho--love that show!

Got a new headshell for the Morris.. making it a smaller more compact head. Retubed with EH7025 In V2. Sounds awesome

Definitly gives it more of that pleasant open "zing". I do have to say, putting that 7025 in V2 Input stage really opens up the amp even more. Lowers the gain and volume a tad bit, but the amp has loads of gain.. especially with both gain dials on board.

When Glen explained to me that the presence worked in conjunction with a negative feedback control that made sense. As it more so added attack than power amp brightness but still added some brightness. But agreed the 7025 in the v2 adds openness to the overall sound. I have it in the v2 of my uk68 and have replaced it only to put it back. And agreed on the fat drive gain and bright crunch.
