Yup, somebody should have hit that shit for 2k shipped. Now it’s at $2250.

Crazy, huh? Tom has one ordered, and it’s been 8 months.
Yeah, sux that it's taking so long. I wonder what's up with Dave. Hope he's ok.

Whoever is selling also has a VH4, FTR 37, JMP, OX, Yamaha HS8s, nice rack and what looks like a neatly wired pedalboard.
Just outside Nashville. Hmmmm.
Wonder what is kicking the Naylor to the curb.

I don’t know, but I’d take the Naylor over any of it.

that guy got a thosand more than his buy in now. that is rare in this day and age. those must have some cult following that i am not aware of. the address on the chassis leads to the Russel Industrial Center in detroit. now it all is starting to make sense

if you live around here... you know.... thats where Hipster and Cocaine have a great relationship.

Hopefully isn’t not a non payer

Those always piss me off the most.

I was shocked the first time I heard one of those guys from the forums, that has all the pricey amps and talks about tone with the utmost confidence and authority, play like I did when I was barely learning. I'm not great, but damn man. If you're gonna be out there talking tone and turning your nose up at anything but the best, at least have some chops to back it up.
Turns out, most of the best players I've heard throughout the years, play common gear, waaaayy better than me or most of the dudes I see in the forums and at the guitar shows.
Hoping the Naylor went to a good home.

I agree that im not amazing, but some of these guys have NO BUSINESS waxing poetic about amps.

Although, most of the amazing players I know play high end stuff.

Naylors are very good amps, but these days its more likely it sold to some shitter who picks up his guitar once a month.

hopefully it is a non payer bidder and he relist but I doubt it

I think I know who you're talking about. . I fell out of my chair. . . With that said I'm a gearhead who's played for ages, but I also refer to myself as a 'basic barband guitarist' . . lol. My most eye-opening experience was when the internet was young, we had a Northeast regional forum jam (It might have been Harmony central , or the old TGP) and it was in Manchester, NH. . I drove 3 hours, and played tunes with a bunch of guys outdoors on a deck and we drank beer and had a BBQ ,etc. There were guys from NH, me from VT, NY, Maine, Mass, and 2 guys drove from Toronto I believe!) Almost think 1 might've been Jim Peters. It was a great time. VERY ENLIGHTENING though. I quickly learned that guitar-gear forum posts came from a HUGE VARIETY of players , huge variety of ages, and huge variety of skills, and some of the so-called experts were totally beginners and some were awful, and some were total pros. I've always been in-between my guitar playing/gearhead life, but have lots of experience with gear and have always liked sharing that . I remember bringing my Tweed 2x12 cab with a Weber SilverBell and BlueDog speakers, my Marshall JTM45 head, and my pedalboard with my "patented" /haha Fulldrive2 into a Rat2 for all shades of od and distortion. .. .Meanwhile I made some friends , including got to be a beta-tester for a home -recording video series 1 guy wrote, and enjoyed it immensely.. . BUT that was the day that taught me that all the guys on the forums are not people we'd have as our 'close-knit' guitarist community in real-lives. They were all very different, and sometimes on a screen they appear the same. ..... . Meanwhile, to make this about Naylors, Naylors were 1200.00 used back then( and that was very expensive for me!) , and noone had one there, but some stores in the area had them in stock. .Haha. . Carry on

Eric

I think that amp is worth $3000 if compared to two rocks or wizards or many other amps. That’s just me. If you have an unmolested SD 60 head and want a quick 3k let me know. I have an Ev60 and sold an SD60 to a friend. I miss it. The feel of these amps rank right up there with many of my favorite amps i don’t know why I never had one years ago when John Suhr told me I should hear one.
