Sounds killer Dan, do you have EQ in the loop?
Yes sir. :D
But I have it set flat line. Sliders all at zero.
But man it gives it that little kick.
This amp makes me laugh it sounds so good.

I have been playing around with my MK V 25, so different amp, same family but what I found was I had to dial in the feel with the tone controls, then dial in the sound with the EQ. My EQ settings are different than the standard V curve. If you don't have the on board EQ you should try scooping out around 750 a bit, and add back in the low end, and low mids with the EQ. I also had to bump 2200 Hz on mine a bit. The Mark amps are like a microscope on your technique which I like for a practice amp. Everything comes through good, or bad, and fast work on the low strings is so clear, and defined.

My only worry was that it wasn't going to have a good low end thump.
But once I got it rolling it has almost as much thump as my recto.

The loop is really good on this amp as well.
Like I mentioned. Been about 7 years or so since I last played one.
So funny to hear this HUGE TONE coming from this little amp.
It's way smaller then my other amps.

I used to always say my recto sounded like a hybrid of a recto and a mark.
This mark is like a hybrid or the Mark and Recto.
If that makes any fucking sense.
They are different though for sure.

Clips sound great! I need to send my '94 Trem-o-verb in for a tune up. It hasn't been sounding it's best lately and I've tried everything I know, including new tubes.

Hey those are Nike sports sandals!!
Mike was telling me about the caps and resistors on how certain ones just go bad.
I would think if you just wanted to get the full tune up it would be about $250
Mine was $360 but that was also purchasing a brand new quad of 6L6s. They were 100 bucks.
I paid mike separately the $300 for the mod.
Worth every freaking penny.
He was telling me he had 3 amps on the bench the day we spoke.

Okay, I am totally confused.

My MK3 has more thump than any of my rev F's, including my Kyle Rhodes triple rec. I also think my MK3 does a better scooped metal tone too.
