It’s funny how science has affect people here in the US. Outside of your actual understanding of the material world around you, you would be what I consider a pretty standard conservative here, at least the ones that haven’t become militant.

But once you bring up science, you immediately turn into just another libtard apparently.

Fact is if you take the percentage of Australians who are descended from convicts and do the same for the US the answer will make you uncomfortable and hurl insults at Americans.
Now, do I think it matters ? No. None of us are responsible for shit our grandfathers ten times removed did, good or bad. Nevertheless, it clearly bothers you because you and I have had this discussion before. You are fond of referring to the US as a penal colony and it wasn't.

I’m watching a Netflix show called The Tourist. I’m imagining it’s probably what Australia is really like. Keystone cops and generally 40 or 50 years behind the rest of the civilized world. 🙃

My favorite areas of the USA are the places that are like 20 years behind. Lower prices, more real people, way less regulation and red tape to deal with and an attitude of no one really cares just do what you want and don't bother anyone. Australia has that heavy handed government though. It's a state run by bigger psychopaths than here I think. The british are alway weird.
