Hey Guys,

We are going to b loading WInged C's, JJ's, Tung Sols and several others in the pre production CCV and see what sounds the best and use that. If its Winged C's the price might bump to $3399 but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

Everybody has a different opinions about tubes, just give people whatever tube they want as optional at an additional charge... as Bogner does...

+1. I'm not sure raising the price across the board $100 for tubes who's quality isn't up to snuff anymore is the answer. The price is already hard to swallow.

You guys are a trip. Mark Cameron will pick the power and preamps tubes he thinks sound best and thats what were going to use. If you want to change it up when you get, knock yourself out. We will let you know what brand the tubes will be after we test them and Mark tells us what he wants.

maybe a stick-on beard could be included with every amplifier to sweeten the deal a bit
This guy is satisfied with his purchase.....and FREE Stick on Beard!

They Run 525~545v.

Mine is 535v.

Roid RAGE
That's a bit excessive, but whatever... My old 72 Super Lead was around 535v. I would like to have one around 480v myself. Is Brad going to stay with the 500+ plate voltage? I would think he would want to cut back on that - just a bit. :scared:

Yeah, the nearly two years that have passed since his death have done nothing to ease the pain...these wounds still feel so fresh.

:jerkit:

Is this new CCV going to have pcb mounted valve sockets, or chassis mounted sockets?

How about a little respect for a great american hero? Everytime u smell oranges when taking a shit u have billy to thank, god bless that man!

Never was a Billy fan. Now that jackass that screamed and hocked sponges on late night TV...... the one that beat down that hooker in Miami.......now that guy was a straight up salesman.

AAAAAND Discussion on the new Winged C's continues...

Why? That's where Bogners run, and they sound fantastic. You get more headroom with higher PV.

I thought it was a given that people only said "too soon" when they were joking.
