Cool pearl white custom shop Strat - except for the standard trem.

Jake reminds me of EVH in this video.

No trem on Jake's guitar. It's a fixed bridge.

$2300??? Yikes. Was looking forward to this guitar but not for that much.

If it is a true Custom Shop guitar than $2350 is a great price for an artist endorsed guitar from Charvel...

Ya I guess. Just seems a bit much for what it is. But if I had the cash I'd snag it.

I've been wanting a JEL sig Charvel since forever! The Music Zoo said the Charvel CS is taking a limited number of orders. $500.00 pre-order puts you on the list. I haven't wanted a particular guitar this bad since I saw Joe Perry with his red BC Rich Bich 10 string back in 1978... I'm in! :)

I know ALOT of guys whom have been waiting for a Jake sig Charvel for years! Great news for Charvel.

Jake is playing his new signature model here... Looks like the neck is made true to Jake's Fender/ Charvel with the smaller frets below the 12th. It also has 22 frets vs 21. Can't tell if the neck-plate is three or four screw?

pretty sure they're 4 bolt .... jake said in a recent interview that the 3 bolt was terrible and he had to glue the neck on so it wouldn't shift

"Great video and song and the appearance of Jake E Lee for the solo is nothing short of monumental. Makes you realize how screwed up the current state of music is and how much you miss the real masters!!! Come back Jake, the music world has never stopped needing you..."

I wonder if Charvel will now take custom orders for blue and purple burst Jakes since he's now endorsed? Their stance to date has been to not replicate past artist guitars who were not current endorsees.

Am I just being a cheap-ass, or is the Govan model really going to be more than twice as good as a comparable Warmoth build?

Here's Jake with the prototype... Looks to me like frets 14-22 are smaller.

Yeah, that's be great if they do. Could be they won't so they can release them as production models though..

The USA Custom Shop Charvel Jake sigs have been for sale in Japan for a while now, they're quite a bit different than the original whitey and different from the Charvel Jake plays live now. The one he plays live has a 22 fret ebony board and a closer to correct high mass brass bridge (black with chrome saddles). It's actually one from a run of guitars done a few years back on the JCF forum, not sure if it came out of that run but it does have the same specs.

This is the USA Charvel already for sale in Japan and odds are the same one we'll get in the USA. 21 med jumbo frets, thin bridge and pearl white finish.

That's what, $3700? Not cheap.
