What module nails the tone after the 1.35 sec mark?

closest would be SL2X...or a SL boosted with a treble booster IMHO.

That AC/DC clips sounds a lot more harsh than the SL2X...which is way thicker and smoother....like a much better Marshall with a Bogner flavor. I can get the EG3/4X and SL2X sounding pretty damn close! However, the lower amount of gain on the SL2 or SL2X Ch A really makes it stand out...so FAT!

You call it harsh, I call it character. I find the tone to be perfect for what they are playing. Warm and mellow tones can sound boring and lifeless in a mix.

I just meant I am used to AC/DC having fatter, warmer Marshall tones than that!

However, I find Bogners much fatter and warmer than Marshalls and I always find they sound better than a Marshall on stage. That is part of why I like Egnater so much....like a better Marshall....to ME. ;) Our tastes are different...no biggie.

That's because it's an isolated guitar track. Hear it in context and it's pretty fat.
