Agreed. I had high hopes with the Trinity, it checked all my boxes but it was loose, round and honky. No way could I ever get it tight enough or able to dial out the roundness. Not with an EQ and not with an OD. I've owned an SLO and I don't get the comparisons as I could dial in the SLO enough for my needs.

That said, the amp was built like a work of art. Maybe the finest built amp I've ever owned. Again, this was just "me" as I've heard plenty of players sound great on those amps but "for me" it didn't work.

Now if the new amp is a new voicing, high gain etc... I wouldn't mind giving it a go because again, the amps are built incredible.

It's 3699€ here. So not overly pricey for what they are. I just learned they are about the same for the US.
Gibson Les Paul Custom was: 2500 in 2010 and now is: 5400 :D

It's a shame that most of the time, the perfectly built amps doesn't suit my style as well. I really tried to like the Diezels for example. Not point to point, which in most cases is actually turret-board-construction, but very well built and Made in Germany. But they just don't sound good in my opinion...

This entire big tubes more powerful thing is almost bigger penis at this point .
 
when i had the Mzero it sounded closer to the CAA OD100SE+ i had at the same time but without the pumping low end in the preamp;
thick searing lead tones.
the crunch channel felt closer to the SLO than the lead one did but OTOH youtubers got them close in AB vids.
the Trinity reminded me more of the SLO bc it took me a while to dial the top in but the somewhat hollow honk in the mids was consistent it both. the SLO didn’t have that iirc

i’d get another MZero again if I was in the market. wonder what that new one does..

No. Also it's not 200Watts. He's gonna send a 200 Watt Version to a German Store next week. Since they don't offer a Return Policy, he said i can use the Return Policy of the Store. I'm sure they are happy about it. :D No footswitchable Modes and Channels, but he can add switches on the Back as a custom option. I said i'll give it a try. I also wrote the Guy with the Hermansson Dual and said i would check it out, if he sells it for 2500€.

I just watched a few Clips again and i'd say you're right. :D
Sometimes these are exactly the Amps that you have to try.

interestingly enough, when I had the Trinity it was the last amp I’d use for casual playing or practicing but i don’t think i’ve had another amp that recorded that well. obvs my poor mixing skills play a part in how I judge amps for recording but I did end up retracking all leads that I had previously done with a 2c+ SRGX. just plugged in, loaded a basic IR an it just worked.
