Skid Row has always been a poseur band. Literally one step away from Poison.
Are you trying to tell me that CC Deville is as good as a guitar player as the guys from Skid Row?

No, that's irrelevant. The music is hair metal pablum, even their "heavier" stuff.
So you are bashing the whole 80's genre of rock on a guitar forum?

Here ya go, you obviously need it.

I highly recommend the audio book for obvious reasons.

I love me some Skid's but that clip looks like it was done by the local high school media kids. I hope they got it for a good price.
I like the more recent clips of them playing the old stuff live though and I think the singer is a good match for them.
I know the nose chain thing is Bolan's trademark, but I agree with Raceu4her, it's cringey as hell to see an old dude still trying rock a lame trend like that in 2022.
I guess he never got in a fight before either or else that shit would have been one and done that night forever!

Bach was voice of that band and always will be. 3 record bands, there`s really alot of them. Most of them had all the material for 3 recordings from day 1 then it was over.

Very ironic but I thought skid row got their band name from the nickname of skid row in California where drug addicts and crime were rampant? That’s what it was called back then
Oh I was not saying that's where they got their name.
It just came up coincidently at the same time.
The rough parts of central LA is probably where they got it.
Although they are from New Jersey I think.
People being "on the skids" is an old English phrase
Having a row of such people on the street is what I'm guessing here.

You mean like Meatalica?

Evidently - there was a band in Ireland with the same name.

So this is definitely the best new song I've heard from them since Bach left (the vocalists and albums between Bach and this newest guy have all been beyond garbage) but it's very safe and generic sounding.

On the flipside, Skid Row's first 3 albums are masterpieces IMO. They'll never re-create the fire they had back then

Sounds like a Def Leppard arena band- pass- that ain't hard rock/metal.

heres the actual show with good sound. if aliens came down and wanted to know what badass rock and roll was id play them this. its like the perfect song

The new song sounds pretty good....It has the Skid Row kind of hooks and breakdowns and swing. I'll give it a listen when it comes out.

On an AMPLIFER note....................Those Rivera M100's just sound monsterously crunchy and ripping...................:2thumbsup::yes:

Can’t say I didn’t look for one last night, not sure how they didn’t get more popular even off the skids alone
