I don't think it sounds bad at all. I guess I've never understand those that criticize bands that try to keep making music to keep them happy and play venues, regardless of where, to keep working and earn a paycheck. Especially after the last 2 years of not being able to tour. As I've said before about other bands, these guys have achieved a success doing what most of us have called a hobby or at the most a part time gig. If you don't like it cool. But I guess some people need to feel relevant. Internet...right?

I understand them not wanting to play with Bach anymore. He does seem like he’d be super annoying to be with every day (even though he’s my fav singer ever). And Sabo and Bolan seem pretty douche (especially Bolan). Hill seems like a super chill, easy going guy that just goes with the flow. Rob Affuso once said on That Metal Show he’d rejoin the original line up.

That sucked. No balls, bubble gum chorus, wishy washy guitar tone, annoying singer, corporate af…Monkey Business turned Honky Business…👎

Hes actually an amazing singer. He obviously could never compete with what Bach did in the 80s but this guy is professionally better than Bach ever was.

I do prefer Bach don't get me wrong but he had maybe a few years of being on point. Obviously the 80s rock lifestyle will take it's toll but Erik does not miss a note, ever. His voice is very good and tbh I really do not think Skid Row could find a better replacement.

I agree with you, he sounds good and he’s definitely a fine replacement for SB, but his moves annoy the shit out of me. But, I am old and irritable, so….

Are you trying to tell me that CC Deville is as good as a guitar player as the guys from Skid Row?
No, that's irrelevant. The music is hair metal pablum, even their "heavier" stuff.

Well I mean he did write Unskinny Bop and I Want Action, that’s pretty solid

I’ve heard CC and crew are blowing away deaf leopard and Motley Crue every night this summer with NO backing tracks. Crazy

This kind of stuff is always painful. Probably a hard pass for me. I was super big into Skid Row in High School. Back when everyone and their Mother loved them. The hot girls, the sluts, the jocks, the stoners, the geeks, the skaters, the whatevers.

But their successive albums in the 90's is what made them stand out above all of their contemporaries and made me a live long fan.

EDIT: This is VERY coincidental but as I typed this up I'm watching Aria America on the Smithsonian channel and the State in question is Washington state. Rowe is talking about the logging industry there. He just explained that the term Skid Row comes from skids they used to roll trees down the steep hills around the Seattle area for shipment.

I learn something new every day as they say.
Very ironic but I thought skid row got their band name from the nickname of skid row in California where drug addicts and crime were rampant? That’s what it was called back then

Generic. Predictable, same as everyone else except maybe the lead playing. Singer is cringe worthy. Can't stand the way he bops around. Turn off the sound and it feels like he is a member of NSYNC
This x 1000.....I couldn't make it through the first 30 seconds
