Now that’s a sweet looking amp.

So $7,600 + tax. When you’re getting close to used Gjika territory, it’s time to stop and look at a map.

The price of new cabs is absolutely psycho. I know the cost of lumber has gone up a lot since 2020 but who is buying a new 4x12 these days for $2500+? They're literally a dozen quality Marshall and Mesa cabs near me for $500-700 each. Plus the gear market is in free-fall. No idea how any manufacturer is selling any 4x12's right now.
Cmon man; everyone knows these are gold plated.

$2699 for a 30 X 30 X 14 box with V30's in it.
Trying to make it seem like a good deal when comparing all the $1,200+ 1x12s cabs out there...
Half of them are probably mdf. I also see v30 loaded cabinets with different ratings, this one apparently has the 70w v30s...

Whelp here it is boys... The new Slash signature Marshall err Magnatone.

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/de...-slash-signature-100-watt-tube-amplifier-head

At a whopping $4899 for the head and $2699 for the cab.

No idea what it sounds like yet but I can't imagine much different from the amps Slash has been playing for the last 30 years. Just uglier.
Not only is it ugly, it is way too expensive and makes Slash look like a money hungry poser.

I just lost now even more respect for the guy. Shame.

Is this another Obeid Khan amp? It might be the first of his I’m gonna have to pass on. Little too rich

Ahhh, no. And in the Sweetwater ad they have a video, of course its Jason Isbell playing a different Magnatone,,,,
If they had kicked that guy in the nuts in that video I would start considering switching to Magnatone.

Yeah, but it boasts an entirely new design...

"the SL-100 boasts an entirely new design based on a highly modded version of Magnatone's Super Fifty-Nine M-80"
:ROFLMAO:

Lotta marketing blather there.

Despite what they say, it's probably modeled on the S.I.R. sound but with the added convenience of a clean channel like on his Jubes.

I saw Guns this year. Slash's tone was WEAK.

If it does end up sounding killer I'll wait for the Ceriatone clone.

I have an M80. When I saw the announcement for this, I figured it'd just be a 100w version of the M80, but cost like $5K. I wasn't off by much.

The Knobs.. I like Knobs. I like BIG Knobs. I like to put my hands on big Knobs. But those Knobs suck..
