You’ve definitely heard her without knowing it. She’s got incredibly catchy pop songs with sweet guitar riffs like this song but it’s all gone to shit now

There's always a shelf life for pop stuff or any genre really ( Steel Panther anyone??). The formula gets old and in pop's case, the girls get older and have to compete with younger better looking talent who are now backed by better and different song writers. Also, live most of this stuff is a joke. It is painfully obvious that Swift can sing, but that they don't let her most of the time live because it has to be about the show and spectacle. They have her dancing and running around to a lip sync track so that it can be perfect for the 13 year old girls and their on the fence gal pals. The dads just go there to look at hot moms.

Not bad, but I usually prefer my pop a little darker. That's what I liked about Billie. She has this depressed mawkish style to her. I'm more into Chelsea Wolf, or Emma Ruth Rundle, especially when they team up with sludge or metal bands.

Yeah I like those two as well, this is definitely more summertime happy pop but I love it
