Got this in yesterday! It was a long wait but well worth it, I am . This thing is so acoustically loud it's crazy!

Looks like the roasted maple.

Yeah I wasn't sure if it was rosewood or roasted maple, I have a tough time telling them apart, that one is especially dark.

Thanks guys! Yep it is the roasted maple or "chocolate maple" as Tom calls it My other drop top has the same roasted neck, but this one is a bit darker.

Nope it's a solid alder body. It's a bit lighter than my other which is a basswood with maple top.

The reason I bought one is because of all the good things people around here say about his guitars. I have a satin black Drop Top Pro Am with a Floyd coming today. H1 and H3+ PU's.

And, I am looking at a second Drop Top right now ready to throw down on it, soon as I get my hands on the Pro Am and check it out.

I love my Drop Top. Mine is mahogany with maple top and chocolate maple neck. My Classic alder body has a chocolate maple neck too. Love both of them.

Steve, let me know what you think of the H3. I swapped mine with an H2+. Seemed to fit my style better.
