Yes, let me see what Mark's new amp tech is up to.....

I played an Anderson that was super loud unplugged like that.

For me guitars that do that sound more lively and beefy plugged in and usually have more sustain and don't need high volume to sound great ( since they already sound great at 0 volume , unplugged).

Is that your experience as well? Does the guitar have great sustain from just finger vibrato, for example ?

Oh yeah - It's also beautiful- love the Reverse Headstock...............wow.

To the OP: Wow, that's a killer looking Anderson. It has a really nice top and you don't often see the reverse headstock. Congrats dude!

Dude...once again...that guitar    's

I'm on a "no fancy tops" kick, but I'd make an exception for that thing :D

You're making my wait tougher, btw.....

That's a beauty! I've never played an Anderson.

I VERY rarely pick up a guitar and go wow! Anderson has that feel and quality behind them.

Mine gets delivered today.....

Sweet looking guitar brother.........

Steve

Thanks man! Hope you dig yours! What do you have coming? Tom and crew definitely make an excellent guitar!

The reason I bought one is because of all the good things people around here say about his guitars. I have a satin black Drop Top Pro Am with a Floyd coming today. H1 and H3+ PU's.

And, I am looking at a second Drop Top right now ready to throw down on it, soon as I get my hands on the Pro Am and check it out.

Steve

Those both look killer! Love the trans black ones I've been seeing lately!

So what's the verdict on the pro am? ;)

Nope it's a solid alder body. It's a bit lighter than my other which is a basswood with maple top.

That's a sharp looking guitar in your avatar!

Congrats on the new TAG. How would you compare the 2 guitars tonewise?

Thanks! As far as comparing the two, I'd have to say that the Alder has a slightly more aggressive sound to it, a bit more bite, especially in the high mids, while the basswood sounds a tiny bit fuller, if that makes sense. I love them both though :D

Absolutely! They just feel more alive, and sustain better all around! :)

Hope you get yours soon man! It is a tough wait! I was originally told by my dealer I would have mine right after the new year, but oh well, definitely worth it in the end!

If you ever get the chance, I'm sure you won't be disappointed as long as it is set up properly! As a few others have said, everything about them just feels "right". The neck shape is easily one of the best I've ever felt, not too thin and definitely not too big. I couldn't be happier with mine
