Rosewood neck? I've never seen a reverse headstock Anderson! I think it's hot, nice guitar man. Great top.

My friend Ivan had one made a few years ago. It's a pretty sweet guitar, as most Anderson's are,

If all goes according to plan-hoping an Anderson will be my next gear purchase :D

You just sold one didn't you?

This bad boy just arrived. Drop Top Pro-Am. It screams - "get rough with me". The great thing about not having one of those pretty tops, the first whiskey dent isn't that big of a deal. I can see what the fuss is all about. Very well balanced for an S shape, comfy to play and these Anderson pick ups are smokin!

Congrats! It's definitely sharp looking! And yes, Tom makes great pickups! I've been using them even before I owned any of his guitars. Love em!

That's a beauty! I've never played an Anderson.

I VERY rarely pick up a guitar and go wow! Anderson has that feel and quality behind them.

+1

same thing i said when i played one. damn thing was like a piano - the definition of perfect if you looked it up in the dictionary

i loved the H3 that was in the Anderson that i played. im not sure if the H2+ is hotter or not, but people say the H3 is hotter than the aldrich (who have/own both and compared)

i want an Anderson someday. i've been shit on by so many other companies buying new that i swore i would never do it again. the ONLY exception is for a Tom Anderson guitar, there simply isnt anything else that can touch the resonance/finish/playability/tone/sound/stability all in one package. the only guitar i know i could get in my hands and not have a single thing to complain about with it or not worry about getting a dead plank

congrats on the NGD steve, cant say we didnt warn you!

:gethim: I know man. It's such a great piece. Body shape, balance, feel and tone. Haven't put it down for a couple hours. The recessed Floyd, I don't even notice its there either. That's my worry about the Charvel I have coming, as they are flat mounts. I do believe, I could be all Anderson sooner rather than later - with one Les Paul for those particular times when you just need a Lester.

I played an Anderson that was super loud unplugged like that.

For me guitars that do that sound more lively and beefy plugged in and usually have more sustain and don't need high volume to sound great ( since they already sound great at 0 volume , unplugged).

Is that your experience as well? Does the guitar have great sustain from just finger vibrato, for example ?

Oh yeah - It's also beautiful- love the Reverse Headstock...............wow.

Reverse headstocks sound more resonant and create more sustain. Everyone knows that.

Wow, this looks awesome! I would love a Pro-Am in black with an all maple neck. Great looking guitar.

Liked TAG #1 so much, I just bought TAG #2. Had to let some swelling out of my PP account :D

I like that Classic in your Avatar. How do you find the switcheroo system? Next one, I will maybe go that route.

I personally find the switcheroo system to be very cool! Tons of tone options. I really like the blower switch as well. I tend to leave mine in a config for the neck/middle in parallel then just hit the blower switch to switch right over to the bridge humbucker. Works well for me!

Also congrats on the second Andy purchase!

So, you configure all of them with the 3 mini switches and the dip switches in back, then the blower automatically goes back to the bridge HB in series mode?

You got it. The three mini's are three way switches. Middle is off down is series and up is either split or parallel depending on what you have the pups set to from the control cavity. Hit the blower switch and you're in bridge humbucker in series. Plus the tone pot pulls for a boost, or at least on mine that's what it does.
