Absolute legend, enjoy your retirment from touring Nicko.....Up the Irons!

It sucks watching our heroes pass away. I have no doubt that soon it is going to be a wave of my favorite musicians passing, just one after another, due to their age. I mean think about it, Zeppelin, KISS, Deep Purple, Scorpions, etc. Those guys all are around the same age.

The one good part is being able to just get lost in that amazing music and keep their memory alive.

Good for Nicko. Everyone loves Nicko.
Like the other Maiden guys besides Janick, he's probably one of the most important people in history 👍

Unrelated buy this guy's medley is on point and you get to see why Nicko and Clive were so important to the Maiden sound.

THE NEW GUY, SIMON DAWSON

2024:

1997:

I liked his playing in both videos. That's why I included the second one.

Nicko had a pretty serious stroke last year. he had a pretty long recovery. He admitted playing some of the songs were pretty rough on him. I commend him for the 42 years he put in. Maiden is my favorite band of all-time. The Maiden machine will keep rolling. I also hear through various sources that Dave Murray is about ready to throw in the towel and stop touring. He stated he wants to now enjoy time with his family.

He has a house in South Florida... and likes to plays golf.

Done and done. Here's to an amazing career!

I've been to his house back in the day while helping my friend Eric who worked at Barrier Reef Fish store in the 90's. Nicest "Rock star" i've ever met.

I saw them last October, and part of that was wondering if it'd be his last tour. I think Dave would also welcome retirement from touring, or at least tour less often, so he can be home with family more. I'm not sure what they'd do at that point. I don't really see Steve hanging it up any time soon.

Nicko will be missed, but I'll still turn out to see them. Janick is the only one they could really lose and still seem like Maiden.

42 years and in his 70’s. Impressive as hell he was still out there touring and drumming. Congrats to him, such a cool guy.

Well Done, and a well deserved retirement. I met him a few years back at a golf tournament that I was working in Boca. Chatted for a few minutes.......Really nice guy. Got to see them play in Brooklyn later that year. I think it was 2018.

If Dave leaves, they need to be done.
