Nuno was the best at taking everything and creating something new, slightly progressive, but still within the framework of what was considered radio friendly rock... and just making it musical....and not cloning someone else.

the song pornographiti (spelling) for example, the funk break down and the sustained notes/ overdub. Brilliant and moody. Big influence on me. Not the the shredding, but the rhythm, arrangements and melody.

3 sides is just great all around.

Early itt I was trying to remember who had the quote in their sig about 99 Luft Ballons. Seemed appropriate. I'd rather hear that than muddy-toned guitar drills.

I don't think you need anymore than listen to him get interviewed. He comes off as a smug prick in a lot of the interviews. I am not into hero worship though so I don't care, his playing is off the charts.
