I'm not a bodybuilder or a runner, but in my late 30's I can still run a mile in the 7's which is more than a lot of folks can say...in fact a lot of folks can't run to the end of the block without giving up. So I won't claim to be Mr Fitness, but I ain't in bad shape. Those website pics are mostly from 5+ years ago and I did gain about 25lbs back in 2002-2004.
BTW, love the avatar!

I hate Winter because i just don't like to go out and run in the cold. I do 2 miles a couple of days a week but this Spring i want to stretch it out. Back in High School i did 10 miles once no problem, but i did 2 seasons of Cross Country just to get in shape for Indoor Track and Outdoor in the Spring. I was really a Sprinter. Running is hard and it hurts like hell for a week or 2 but it feels great once your body gets used to it and you say to yourself, "Hey, i don't hurt and I'm not tired".
Funny story, once in High School we had a Saturday morning practice and i went out drinking in the woods Friday night. We were practicing handing off the baton. I was waiting for the runner before me to hand the baton and i started puking as i was running, and the other guy was dancing to avoid the spray. It made for a classic story for a few years.
Odin":24dbhez4 said:I was never a runner and I'm still not a "runner", more of a jogger. The last PT test I took I ran a 1.5 mile in 11:36, and "passing" for a male my age is 12:51. As long as I run with guys who are a little faster than I want to go I'll push myself to a decent time, but running by myself my pace drops off.
My sprint isn't fast at all, but I can run at a steady pace forever. I used to do sprints and it helped my overall times by giving me a little better stamina on long runs, but I just hate sprints so much that I never do them anymore.

I wonder the same thing. The CEO of the company I work for went on the net under a pseudonym and talked shit about one of our competitors. We then bought out that competitor. We were investigated by the FTC.psychodave":3evgl7av said:Wow. Is it legal to use this information without due cause...and then brag about it on a forum. I would have to think that it is a violation of police procedures.

Unfortunately I have been blessed with the very same wrist condition.

Yes, you do! I cannot now, nor could I ever, run a 1.5 mile under 10 minutes.
