Thanks! I had my c+ Coli turned up this morning. Master 1 on 3 is as high as I can go in the basement without cracking the foundation. ?
Right on, must be loud as hell. I find 3 is usually the sweet spot on Mark series Boogies, after that they start to compress too much.

Word on the street is it's being discussed along with other power section variants.
I really doubt it's gonna happen. There are very few guitarist looking for a 180 watt monster tube amp like that. Maybe a 100\60 watter though?

Man, I still think the two channel chrome chassis Rectifier and the Mark series metal grill cabs are the coolest and most metal looking stack ever!!!
By the way, this picture represents the famous "wall of doom" better than most anything else!!!!

With the DRG being pentode, the SRG and HRG don’t make a whole lot of sense to deal with separately.

Maybe the emasculation of society has killed all hope for a new Coli? IDK, but word also is a RI Triple is coming so…?

My question about the IIC+ reissue is why is it only rated at 75 watts when the outer two tubes are wires pentode? Should'nt it be closer to 85 or 90 watts?

At a guess doing no actual investigation at all, lower plate voltage to keep it from eating modern tubes? Alternately marketing so the low power guys think it's not a higher wattage since none of those ratings really mean much anyways lol

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the difference of the 2C++?

++ has even more pronounced lower mids (as if a Mesa doesn't already have that lol), and more gain. Hetfields DRG Crunchberries is a ++. I had my 60w C+, and A/B'd it to an HRG ++ and the HRG was a touch darker with more gain. I could boost the C+ to almost match the ++.
The ++ is much ado about nothing imo....when a boost will take care of the same sound. But, I can see metal guys going for it.

And there is no + option on a ++ (ie its not a switchable thing to have on the same amp)?
