The SL2X also gets very "EG3/4" like with the following settings:
Bass -> noon
Mids -> cranked
Treble -> off to 9 oclock
Bass / Bright switch -> off

Gain is wherever you are comfortable with. I was running ChA at noon...and ChB at noon to 2 oclock.

Thanks for advice. I found out that SL (I have one for a loan) is also possible to dial to "EG3/4" like, although EG3/4 is a bit thicker.

Gain -> 3:00
Bass -> ~2:00
Mids -> ~3:00
Treble -> ~9:00-10:00
Bass off/ Bright 2

A on EG3/4

Gain -> 2:00
bass -> 12:30
Mids -> 12:30
Treble -> 12:30
Bass/bright off

That being said, I think I have a problem: too many ways to get too many good sounds.
