Michael Nielsen is my overall favorite. There's a lesser known channel called ChopTones that features some interesting gear too. Ola gets props for being one of the first regularly doing pro-quality mic'ed metal demos. Sotosprince does some great stuff.

Least favorites, in no order:
The Tone King
Reza
Fluff
Michael Nielsen does awesome demos.

guitarbilly just posted a thread about this guy and I gotta say, dude fuckin RIPS

Kutos to anyone has taken the time to pull together a demo video.
Even if I don't like it.
Especially the ones that are done half pro with proper micing etc.

They're still taking the time to do it and putting themselves out there.
Which is more than most of us are doing.

There's HEAPS of demos I don't like, and if I don't like something, I just won't watch it again.

Not going to talk shit about anyone because at the end of the day it's only my opinion, they're still playing music, and I have better things to do haha.

I liked Ola a whole lot more back in the old days when he didn't talk and just played. I get it though, you need to make the $ so he turned into a YT clown. Still cool, but kind of like when Metallica put out the black album.

Yes to all of that, well said.

Having an opinion doesn’t equal “talking shit”.

I totally agree with the corpse. You're vids fucking rule. They make me want to run through a wall. Wicked riffage, tone, and footage. Keep that shit coming.
Thanks dude, not sure I qualify to be in this thread but I'll take it

I agree that errrrrrls (Fakas) vid clips are just so awesome. Very entertaining at the least. And I like Bad.Seed Kyle's videos because you know what you are going to get. And he almost always starts by playing the amp with all the knobs an 12 noon. And then he goes from there and then adds some boosts at the end. A bit long for me, but I know where to look.

But seriously guys, to complain about amp demos in this day and age seems very 1st world problem ish you know?
Thanks 311splandude

My favorite online demos are from sotosprince. He does it mic'd, phoned, reactive load/IRs, and sometimes in a mix. Gives me everything I want to hear.
Yup, it was interesting to see his rig recordings get better and better and better and so on.
