Seriously, I thought the intro rhythm guitar is huge, I like the second guitar but woulda liked that one a bit up in the mix. Once the vocals come in it so is not my bag. That said, I think it came out really, really good.

And for all of our interactions over the years you know I don't tell folks unless I mean it.

No one responds to posts unless they're political or religious in nature. You should know that. I'm listening now. It's Kinda Psalty Dog sounding I guess. I think it represents your taste in music well. I like stuff a bit raunchier normally. It's quality though. Good job.

Hey Ed, thanks for the comment! What didn't you dig when the vocals came in? Did you expect it to be heavier vocals? Just curious.

We recorded all 10 songs in around 30 hours. Talk about a rough couple of very loooooooooong days. We made two trips and about killed each other each time. lol... It was a little stressful.

Nuh, nothing like that. The vocals were perfectly suited to the tune. It's just in the last few years I developed a really big aversion to non-instrumental stuff with very few exceptions. Like Prince or James Brown. Point was that it's no my bag but I thought you did a kick ass job, and that was without considering it was done in 30 hours.

Ahh, cool. Thanks! I'm not much of an instrumental guy myself. I just don't have enough to "say" on guitar to fill up 3-5 minute songs, while keeping them interesting. lol...

But yeah, I appreciate the feedback. I'm fighting the urge to post other songs from the project...

I thought it was a really cool tune! The rhythm guitars sound GREAT and I love the main riff. I think the sound of the drums and bass could be improved... I also think the singer is straining at times...

Well, kinda. A local radio station plays two of our songs now, so we try to fit those into a full night cover gig. We don't always get to do them, though. We haven't started playing the other originals out yet.

In my opinion, the best situation to be in is in a band that can do a full 4-hour cover gig OR a 1-hour all original show. Another band I used to be in was like that and it's the best of both worlds. I dig it!
