Yeah. Can't beat that one. I'm glad people like you are good at what you do!

Depending on who you talk to at Bush Industries, I am either a 2nd Shift AS/RS System Administrator (according to Corporate), AS/RS Recieving Clerk (according to local facility HR), or my personal favorite, Glorified, Overpaid (or underpaid, again depending on who you talk to) Forklift Operator (according to me).

(Ah, son of a bitch. I hate the Grammy Awards. It's like the never ending story, except that it is a story that sucks)

Satellite field service specialist. Basically I'm a cable guy for Dish Network.

I'm not opposed to answering questions about cable/satellite tv for anyone who needs help.

In that case, I need someone to really sell me on satellite over cable, cuz cable is way too expensive, but I'm still partial to the reliability of cable. So far, I have neither.

Day job:Para-legal and non-profit.
Currently my big goal is to set up a Dream house school of ROCK. A place where todays youth can learn all the aspects of the industry and have a better option than hanging out in the malls. There ain't a lot of money in this, but the rewards are huge.

Night job/weekends: I'm just a singer in a RNR band. Mostly small gigs in far away places, but it is amazing how just being a player from the big city can make you a celebrity for the day in some small town.

How do I steal satellite? One of my co-workers has a pretty crazy free-satellite setup, but he doesn't like to get into how he does it.

You have to have a receiver that accepts external smart cards. Then you need a laptop that can monitor the language the receiver is getting from the dish through a video emulator card. Every so often a satellite company will send a kill hit to illegal receivers, your laptop monitors for those messages and you need to physically unplug the box from the dish until the hit passes. Otherwise the box deactivates and the smart/emulator card is toast.

There is a market for cards but after every kill hit you have to send it back for reprogramming. It's easier for Direct TV customers, but there is only one model of Dish Network receivers that work like that anymore, so it's tough to steal.
