Ok... hold on here. I NEVER said it was the best amp on the planet or anything. Is it a Diezel? no... Is it a Bogner? no...
BUT... it is the BEST SS amp out there and it's better than a lot of tube amps we always talk about here... it's a killer small compact unit to grab and go to a small gig or rehearsal and have a light load to carry!
...and yes, it "feels" a little different from the best tube amps, but it records so cloase it's scary!

I spent a few hours with it and a Les Paul with stock pups... I tweaked it every way possible...sounded VERY synthetic compared to a Mesa Boogie Quad sitting next to it. Alan ran 2 of em in stereo and had a ton of stereo chorus and delay...he can make a mediocre amp sound good...next few times I saw him he had tube amps...and never went back. The Pearce stage didnt last long with him either.
