Not a bad demo I guess. Even with Pete, being all Emo and all.

Yes, I noticed the hairstyle change. With the breakthroughs in gender unification during the last year especially, I am very happy for him that he is coming out like this. Good for you Peter.

One word...loser

While Pete is an amazing player, and can make a Gorilla sound phenomenal, he's not doing anything extraordinary in the first 20 seconds of the video, and it sounds amazing. While still very cool, all he did was a tasty little run and a few chords, and everyone's saying, "Pete can make anything sound good." Since Friedman products basically never disappoint, I don't see why this pedal wouldn't sound killer in the hands of any halfway decent guitarist.

Pete's a great guy, has more talent than 10 men.

He can do what he wants.

Having had RACKSYSTEMS mod a JMP for me, im more than familiar with Daves talent.

Dewd is the Leader in his field.

New slogan idea :

FRIEDMAN AMPS : Catch us if you can ...

Dude went out of his way to make the amp sound like hell at one point. And actually succeeded. Then brought it back to life with a single knob on the pedal, demonstrating a crazy range of usable control in a less than ideal setting.

But suddenly we all need golden fingers to justify acquisitions on a gearhead site.

This is getting a ton of views. Seems like this will sell!! I know I'm curious but may need to wait a while.

Lol@George Mc Fly. I guess he got the Huey Lewis gig.

Pete Thorn seems like a really nice and genuine guy, he is a great player and seems to be very successful as well.

I wish I had his connects AND his hair lol.

Great demo as always.

Also this sounds great from the very first open chord note so while yes he is always getting good sounds I think that first second of the video shows that the pedal sounds great no matter how magical your fingers are.

Would love to know how it handles down-tuned metal. Looking at this and the Amptweaker Tight Metal.

That's what I was looking at as well. Perfect backup rig with a 44 magnum!! (Maybe we will see a 100w Friedman Poweramp pedal one day? :) )

My gut tells me this BE-OD is the shit!!! Check out the NAMM video, sounds pretty brutal plus there is that internal switch inside. Dave says there is plenty of gain and I believe him.

Dave send one of these to Ola or Fluff!! There are lots of us metalhead gear nerds too :)

I use high gain amps so I'm more interested in how it works as a mild overdrive and boost, but I'd also like to hear some brootz on a clean amp to see where it stands. As far as I can tell from that video, it's really mid-oriented and seems like it does have that Friedman tweaked sounds.

Anyway, I always wondered why builders don't make more investment into forum patrons who basically do a lot of marketing for them. They should be $99 for forum members before they start hitting Guitar Center shelves.

Because he knows Pete Thorn

I love the tone Pete got into his SL68 set crunchy. Very HBE modded Marshall sounding to me! Well worth $199 (or less at the street prices) for a HBE mod!
