As far as I know, Joel Stroetzel from Killswitch Engage plays a VH4 and he is a god in playing pinchies

He has a VH4 and the new records rhythm tracks are the vh4 but live they are both using the Splawn Nitro.

and mostly, beyond splawn nitro and (modded - im not sure) vh4, a mesa roadstar...

The sound on the DVD is, from what I remember, Triamp live and re-amped with an SLO in the studio.

For me no problem at all finding artificial/pinched harmonics on my VH4 even with my strato.
