Thanks for all the awesome comments guys. I updated the tone test bc I mean honestly I wasnt really digging the old version. So I re-wrote it and gave it a little more of a vibe of what I am more into. made it a bit more metal and what not. So give it a listen peeps!

Well nvm now that I think of it, its a completely different song now. I probably should have just started a new thread about it, but I dont want to spam up the forum with my random clips.

This is most definitely a totally different song, but it too kicks ass! I do hear at the end a huge similarity to the previous clip though. :thumbsup: It has a more "girthy" or lower aggressiveness this one too. I honestly totally dig both the tunes tones equally!!

Forgot to ask, is this recorded direct from the X3?
 
The first was cool, but the second is KILLER! Remind me a little of Nevermore when the whole band kicks in! Cool as hell riffs and sound!

Thanks guys. Yeah the chorus for both songs are the same. I basically trashed the original song idea bc I only liked the chorus which to me has an Arch Enemy vibe. Also yeah I did record direct from the pod x3. It basically went guitar-pod-to my firepod. I will also try and upload the patch later today when I get home.

Ya know, if you dont like that main/verse riff (not the chorus) when it kicks in from the first version, I'll gladly take it :D

Definitely let me know. That riff makes me wanna write, there are many ideas floating through my head for that riff....and you'd get credit, of course!
