Thanks guys. Yeah the chorus for both songs are the same. I basically trashed the original song idea bc I only liked the chorus which to me has an Arch Enemy vibe.

Dude!! When I first listened to the first clip, as soon as the chorus kicked in, I instantly thought "Jebus, that is TOTALLY an Arch Enemy styled riff!!" I knew I wasn't the only one who thought so!
