New tubes sure but caps? I mean if it sounds good I'd leave it alone other than tubes.

I mean, I don't swap tubes out until either I have to, or I notice a tonal difference either via bias drift (power) or microphonics/other (pre). Luckily never experienced red plating.

That said, it is possible the PRS amps may not have the best of the best capacitors so I can see someone wanting to get better ones while their tech is still doing honorable work - in a 'take to the grave' amp.

I don't disagree and I generally leave my amps alone until they give me a reason to check em out. I've retubed and still don't have the same low end response it had initially. Going to have it checked out regardless. If it doesn't need anything, aside from tubes then I know I'm just deaf now.
