Man for that price, it should of had a back plate and someone try to match the knobs... just a bit too rich for my blood but if they had it for 2000 i'd be tempted to make a silly purchase.

Pretty cool. And I love Randy but I want a polka dot guitar about as much as I want a striped guitar (and I love EVH). Which is to say...not.

I wanted an EVH for a while but you are right.. couldn't bring myself to play someone else's axe though admittedly I bought an Edwards Schenker V
.. I think they got it right with those EVH inspired solid colored relic'd series axes though.

I'm all about 'inspired by' guitars. Warren's and Nuno's guitars were inspired by EVH but still their own things. Currently yes. Since one guy's been dead for a while.
I like Jake, but he can't hold a candle to Randy's body of work and Randy hasn't done a thing since 1982.

Prefer Randy, but Jake was a monster. I think Randy wrote much better songs, as well.
