So let me get this straight.
You wired him money for the tubes via said Bank 'W'.
You didn't get the tubes.
You asked for a refund.
He asked you what bank.
You didn't reply.
Helmut assumed it would be Bank 'W'.
Helmut provided a refund via Bank 'W'.
But Bank 'W' was defunct so Bank 'W' technically has your money.
Then some time later you asked about your refund.
Then some more time later Helmut realized Bank 'W' was defunct.
Then some more time later this thread started?
Helmut is offering to send you another 440e in good faith

Not calling you out, just trying to boil down what Helmut said yesterday. It is not clear to me how a bank can go defunct in Dec 2021 but then money can still be wired and disappear. That's wire fraud. Wouldn't Helmut have a record of that transaction? Where you aware of Bank 'W' financial problems. If you want a refund, wouldn't you provide the banking details you want to use? When you didn't get Helmut's money within a few weeks why did you not ask him again and also keep a record of all of those requests?

SBlue supposedly said some things that hurt Helmut's feelings. Maybe those words crossed over into defamation of character which is why Helmut is threatening legal action. The 2.5 hour window has definitely come and gone.

Also, for some reason SBlue knows that Helmut has a very hairy backside, but that's for another day.

Depends on the cage design. The type of half-cage that is behind the seats in my car, for example... I don't think your head can get anywhere near it, even in an accident. But hey... it's possible I guess. If you have a full cage, with bars that extend throughout the entire cabin, including in front of you and up over your head around the door frame, then yeah... your head can hit that in an accident. And I wouldn't recommend that kind of cage in any street car.

To those who are not aware, FourT6and2 is a wiz with a soldering iron and builds killer amps. Rare air, real deal. But, I think he is too busy racing his bitchin Porsche and free soloing Everest. He is getting too busy winning to start an amp company.

But seriously, if any of you get a chance to hear or play his amps, DO IT!!

No, I sent him my bank info to wire the money to, it was not the one I originally wired the money from. Yesterday, he said he wired it to the one I originally sent the wire from. But I checked with both banks and neither have record of any payment. I asked him which bank he sent it to, he finally responded yesterday (in this forum when he said it went to the same one I initially wired from). The bank that is defunct is on his end, not mine.

Thanks hahaha! I would never start an amp company, so much drama holy crap. And yeah I'm too busy doing crazy shit, although I do enjoy building an amp here or there.
