The real Larry seems by all measures to be a lying, thieving weasel, who backpedals in a feeble attempt to save face once he realized what an assclown he has proven himself to be.

Yes, but there are two problems, first you don’t drive with a helmet on going to the store, so you could smash your squash on the cage in an accident, or the cage could come apart at a weld and impale you if the crash is bad enough.

Same thing with fiberglass hoods, people put these on all the time m, but the car makers engineer crumple zones etc into their body panels, the aftermarket doesn’t. I’ve seen reports of fiberglass hoods getting sheared off at the hinges and going through the windshield and decapitating people inside the car. That’s one of the reasons I spent $1500 for a real NOS cowl induction hood for my Camaro.

My Chevelle has a 10 point cage in it. As long as you are belted in, not really any way your head could contact any of the bars.

As long as it’s well constructed I’d agree with you, but you’re at the mercy of whoever did the welding. The cage generally is as strong as the weakest weld on it, if one let’s go it’s a domino effect, so if the halo bars move, all bets are off, belt or no belt.

How quick is your Chevelle ?

... and just like that there are people blowing smoke up his ass even though he didn't do shit except for posting old pictures, giving some bullshit explanation and promising a second time to finally refund the guy for the "better than anyone else's" NOS tubes that were ordered and paid for and Larry never sent in the first place AFTER several years and after telling him and other paying customers to basically fuck and kill themselves... and let's not forget that there's still no resolution for thegame, SBlue or Steve K's widow or the other customers that he ripped off. It's flabbergasting. But who still thinks that ordering an amp from a guy who is that shady and unreliable and clearly just an asshole who is long past his prime is a good idea will probably get what he deserves.. let's hope it's an amp but I highly doubt that.

The ball is in his court. I just hope we dont make light of Larry coming around to the right side of this. Nobody said all is forgiven, but if something positive comes from this thread, that is a win.

I dont think larry is a bad guy. I think he is arrogant and eccentric. I am arrogant and crazy as hell, so I can identify somewhat. I always try to do the right thing, but sometimes people misunderstand me and think i am just a dick. I am a dick, but all in good fun
