Interesting that demand is up so high given the fact that the Suhr branded PT100s are coming. I was planning to wait but...

Guys I am going to tell you....My new PT100 and Suhr 4x12's are flat out the baddest tone I can remember having in years!! When you kick into a song and then see every one of your bandmates heads spin around wide eyed with a look of "Holy Crapballs Batman, What did I just hear?" you know it is freakin awesome! Had no idea what I was missing. I actually drove back to the studio tonight so I could hear it again and can't wipe the smile off my face. The power section is so fat and rich and the notes were jumping off the fretboard while retaining nice think mids. Whomp control fattens the bottom end perfectly. Oh and the clean channel is just beautiful. No sterile cleans here. Blows away any fender twin I ever played. By far the best channel switching amp I have ever owned. Thanks John (and Pete) for nailing it!

UPDATE:
Ok guys, wanted you to know that I used the Suhr PT100 and both 4x12's on a live concert video shoot tonight and I can say for sure my tone has NEVER been better! Can't describe it, but it was so full of energy and I was connected. This rig responded to everything I put through it and gave me back more! The cabs even have Vintage 30 speakers which I have never liked, but it is perfect and I am not touching a thing. Singer said after the show tonight, "Your new Suhr just killed your old rig and wasn't even in the same universe!" LOL! Seriously, it is 5am and just got in from the shoot, but got a big stupid grin on my face still. Now what does one do when not having to worry about ones tone anymore??? Mmmmmmmm....

For me...there was no reason to wait. I have a switching system that can switch the channels via MIDI CC, so there was no reason to get the MIDI option on the Suhr Branded one. Plus...GAS got the best of me!!! It sounds awesome as is....and for people like me who don't need the MIDI switching capabilities and can't wait because of a bad case of GAS...

The tones aren't gonna change THAT much...and having switching options for boosts and negative feedback options...really didn't make me want to wait. I don't see changing those options THAT much anyways. So I personally wanted to get one now.. :)

Plus if all you want really is the midi switching option...get a RJM amp gizmo, a SoundSculture FootSim (which I bought for use on my small pedalboard), etc.

Judging by how busy Suhr is and their track record for new products actually getting out there (Hedgehog and pedals debuted more than a year ago and only the pedals have made their way out) Id say the answer is probably "not soon". I think Pete posted a few weeks ago that they are close to a final design on the control layout. You cannot rush perfection. :D

FWIW, I actually like the look of the CAA better than the Suhr branded single channel prototype design they had at NAMM.

I'm hoping for a look like the the new 2X12 or something sorta classic looking along these lines.
I do like the look of the CAA, but I like a classic style look better.

sorta like these:

I've just racked up my 20th gig with the PT100 and a recto 2x12

To me foot-switchable boost would be overkill..... but my needs are fairly simple. To be honest I never use channel 3 very much either, Just the clean channel dialed in with the gain around 6, the 2nd channel with the gain around 7 and my volume knob are about it for me....gives me more than enough variation.
