Just ordered one from Sweetwater. Being delivered Monday. Going to run the Fender for clean and the EVH for dirty.

Looks like a great pedal. Anyone got one here?

Bang for the buck, its hard to beat.
Had one for years

Great pedal. Just needs LEDs to be used in a band situation.

Pretty handy pedal. I agree it would be even better if it had LEDs.

Been using mine for years as well. But I find myself wanting more outputs. I need to grab a Lehle at some point.

Great Pedal...I have used one for years and never had an issue. Good quality and meets the need for me!

i've had one for years as well. it works well. just read the pamphlet that comes with it. they suggest adding a bit of treble to your top end. being a passive unit it does take a bit off the top.

Use one to split signal between two amps. The isolation xfmr/gnd lift works well with my setup. Use the phase switch too. The signal after the iso xfmr has audible tone suckage, but I use the B signal to add delay/reverb wet only amp. As others have stated LED indicators would be a great addition to this otherwise excellent A/B pedal for the money.

I ordered this pedal yesterday afternoon from Sweetwater. My doorbell rings at 9:30 this morning. What!!!!!!! How on earth did I get it !!!!!! I asked for standard free delivery for Monday..

These guys are awesome.

Here she is......already!

I tried two of these, and both of them killed my tone. Purchased a Fulltone True-Path HT... Problem solved!

I go direct into the amp, no pedals. My delay, chorus, EQ, and tuner are in the loop.

No tone loss. I've been going back and forth direct and through the switcher, no tone difference. Probably with a big pedalboard out front it would but I'm not hearing it.

It was effecting my straight-in guitar tone, with no effects before or after the ABY. The best ABY I've ever used, was the Lehle Dual SGoS... Pricey, but worth the price IMO.

Had one of those, did suck a bit of tone to my ears. Got a Lehle ABY, much better but also more cash. Sold it...2 years later picked up its big brother the Radial Twin City. Just as good as the Lehle and you can score them used for cheap. And they have LEDs I think...

I would love to use two amps, as I hear the blue channel sweet spot leads to terrible cleans, however I am unsure of how to deal with the pedals in my loop, does lehle/big shot have an aby solution that includes loop paths as well?

TrueTone...I stand corrected! At very low home volume....hardly any noticeable difference. I've been cranking it this afternoon and there is a big difference. However....I love the difference. It rounds off the ice pick highs from the cheap speaker they put in the 112 combo.

I might still replace the speaker.

If you're running two amps to get a clean tone, because you have a single channel gain amp, you may want to consider something like this...

I plug my guitar directly into my TC2290 input, then I go: 2290 loop circuit #1 send > RK100 guitar input > RK100 loop send > 2290 loop circuit #1 return. Then I just plug-in what ever preamp I want into the next four 2290 loop circuits... This way, I don't need two amps to get a good clean tone, nor do I have to hassle with a separate power for the preamps. After the preamp line, I run the 2290 output into the RK100 loop return. I'm using a Triaxis for clean (and other) tones, with large bottle Golden Dragon EL34's (SED 6L6) in my RK100 power section.

I'm trying to give you some ideas, that don't require running two amps. All I need to complete my rig, is a MIDI cabinet switcher. My 2x12 semi-open pine cabinet for cleans, and a closed 4x12 for gain tones.

A better way to pad your picking, is with a Barber Tone Press. Try both the original, and the newer green V2 model... The green version 2 doesn't sound as good to my ears, but others seem to like it.

So I emailed Sweetwater about the huge tone change on channel B and told them I wanted to return it. They sent me an RA number.

I asked them ....if return shipping would be covered since.......no where in their marketing or advertising was anything mentioned about this unit coloring the sound. Only in the instructions found inside the box ...actually say.......this is a passive unit and will change the tone on channel B which will have to be adjusted with your eq. I told him had I known this up front, I would have purchased a different unit.

The guy was a jerk about it, said I should know that myself before purchasing. FU Sweetwater. You lost a customer for only a $5.95 return shipping fee.

My fiance purchased what were supposed to be 2 x new Bogner pedals (from Sweetwater) for my birthday. One pedal had a screwed up indicator light, and the other was clearly a returned unit with marks on it. By the time I got to inspect them, it was past the maximum return date. When I called them, they couldn't care less, and refused to supply me with replacement pedals. That was our last, and final purchased from Sweetwater. So yeah... FU Sweetwater!

I'm getting ready to purchase a Boogie Mark V 25 watt, mini Recto cabinet, a set of pickups, a TS808, and a Rivera attenuator - none of which will be purchased from Sweetwater.

While I'm at it... MusicToyz.com is, by far, the WORST retailer I've ever dealt with. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get MusicToyz.com to return my payment. Stay away!
