Getting back on point... I have a new Fulltone HT ABY that I would consider selling, but if I do, I would surely need one again. The Fulltone is a great ABY, but I think I prefer the Lehle's buffers. Some things you can't skimp on... An ABY is one of them.

Not sure of the back story, but it seems TT500 has gear knowledge and I've found some of his posts informative.

This thread got royally fucked...In any event, several months have passed, and i'd like to revisit some thoughts on the various A/B/Y switchers being used. The pros/cons etc.

True by-pass, or buffer?? I'm not looking to have the life sucked from my amp, just simply switch between amps. the idea of running both simultaneously is intriguing however.

I had a Radial Big Shot, Twin City Bones, and a Lehle ABY. The Big Shot sucked some tone, while the other two did not. Lehle makes great stuff but the Twin City sounded just as good to me.

Check out the Lehle Dual SGoS A/B/Y box. It has a lot of useful features plus it's MIDI switchable. I use mine at home with a Reverend Goblin (clean), Soldano Astroverb 16 (crunch), and a Lehle P-Split into a Laney Cub12R (semi-dirty). It works great switching between the 3 combo amps that I have. I use the P-Split to isolate the Laney amp to avoid any ground loop issues.

I used to use a voodoo amp selector when I was running 3-4 amps. Downsized my rig and moved it on. Been using a radial big shot ever since for a two amp setup. Today I received a lehle dual sgos. WowZa it blows themy both away. The voodoo doesn't have tone loss per se but I felt it did color my tone a bit. The radial is OK for something cheap and effective but there is noticeable volume/high end loss when running 2 amps simultaneously. The lehle does not color or lose any tone at all. Best splitter I've ever tried.
