Am I allowed to call it Sauron’s Tower since they’re called wizards and are in black tolex lol…

I love the look of that MTL, small logo, chrome knobs etc. I don't know what one I'd pick if I could. I'm more of a lead player so I always gravitate back to the tones in the 80s and early 90s.

dude i'm the same way in terms of playing style. leads on wizards sound great but you need a picking hand that resembles Thors hammer lol

i prefer to use my be-100, slo and jose mod jmp for leads because they are more forgiving

i will say playing leads on the wizards motivates me to practice and play cleaner! for the 80s/90s thing, i'd say plug into the MCII and boost it for leads with your fav OD pedal!

I've always felt deep down the MCII plus a boost like an SD-1 would be the one for me. Some clips i've heard it sounds angry as hell and could do thrash no problem. I'm a big Marty Friedman fan for his stuff in Megadeth.

dude, i play Marty solos on it (at like retard speed) all the time! no boost needed, all picking hand and it sounds GLORIOUS

Marty is my #1 favorite guitar player of ALLLL time

can't believe he parted with it, congrats man! Justin is awesome to deal with and super nice. We've been friends since our first transaction, lol.

Well he said he’s got tonal overlap so I thanked my lucky stars I had the opportunity but he is an absolutely stellar dude!

you're the bastard the convinced me to trade whatever amp I had for sale at the time for a Wizard MC50 and the rest is history. :ROFLMAO:
that MC was a friggin masterpiece too - it crapped the bed somehow and I sent it to Rick for service and it came back different - but springboarded me into the rabbit hole of amp buying, selling, trading. Thanks Eric!
