price is the real issue as 3k for the Revv Generator amp is quite steep

Yikes

It better sound a whole lot better than those demos then, because for those prices you could get a whole bunch of really nice high gainers

agree the Revv Generator should be priced lower at 1500-2k versus over 3k. I actually liked the ENGL Fireball 100 amp better for less money.

I agree the fireball 100 is one of engls best sounding amps PLUS it's not ridiculously priced.

For the type of money these amps cost, you should be getting something feature packed and dialed in exactly for the tone youre looking for.

I really, really wasnt impressed with the earlier mark I and II revv generators, and I didn't know they cost so much lol.

definitely love the Engl Fireball. Once I sell off my smaller Engl Ironball and Bogner Uberschall then I plan to get one. It is a nice modern high gain amp that would complement my Mezzabarba well.I just fixed my Uberschall with new preamp tubes so will list it for sale.

The Fireball 100 is one of the better Engl's, but for what it does I felt the Inferno was even better and just a few hundred more. Worth it imo if you can and want an Engl. If you want something affordable with features maybe the EVH Iconic could also be one to consider
