Died in hospice care...I didn't even know he was sick. We used to play a lot of the same clubs back in the day. They were a great live band and one of the only 80's metal bands that I can recall getting signed out of rural PA. RIP Henrik.

I knew henrik pretty well back in the 80's used to do some partying with him after the shows. I recieved a text earlier today about it.

They were a great live band back then. I used to get a kick out of jacks (bass player) stage dance he would do when he was playing.

You PA guys remember HARPO?

i remember HARPO.I opened up for them once in the early 90's.i have friends that idolize them.were a great cover band.originals were kinda cool, too.
think jack was in that band before DL.He has his own "municipal waste" company now.

i believe HARPO'S original guitarist John Hahn went on to make a Shrapnel instrumental record.
their last guitarist Chris is a monster player.
Lloyd could do AC/DC/ZEPPELIN like he owned them.

i think they still play a cpl times a yr.

good times.

Absolutely...used to see them a lot/play the same clubs. They did a cool mix of covers and originals...never quite made the "big time". John Hahn did put out an instrumental CD...I still have it. They've done some reunion shows in recent years (with Chris, not John) but their lead singer Lloyd is having leg issues stemming from a bad accident back in the late 80's.
The bass player who replaced Jack (can't remember his name) ended up in Lizzy Borden.

Billy and Chris still gig around PA to this day as Suckerpunch.

they always tore Fiddlestyx in Milton up.always a great show.

I have seen many shows at Fiddlestyx. I miss that place. I great place play too.

i played there a cpl times too.seen Harpo,RATT,L.A. GUNS there also.Quiet Riot played there once too.

another band called ARC ANGEL played there as well.featuring AJ PERO of twisted sister and Karl Logan, now of MANOWAR.

I saw Ratt and numerous other bands at Fiddlestyx. I loved playing there.

This is turning into a real nostalgia trip...Fiddlestyx was awesome. Anybody remember the short lived Carl's Bad Tavern in Bellefonte?
The Scorpion in State College? The Metron/Club Met in Harrisburg? Swizzles in York?

Arc Angel was great...I still have a cassette they gave me with a cover of "Tracks of My Tears". IIRC they were from Wilkes Barre.

Anybody remember Wrathchild America? Child's Play? They played that same circuit...used to see them all the time. And then there were the Kix shows...best club band that I've ever seen.

wow, I kept looking at this link thinking the band Dirty Looks sounds familiar. Finally put 2 and 2 together - I had a good friend from PA named Ed Collins that played drums in Dirty Looks for a while. That was driving me nuts. Actually I think I have whole host of friends from PA. Any of you PA guys hear of a band called Freefall or The Weekend?

the Metron and Swizzles were cool clubs.the others i haven't been to.

Arc Angel's singer broke up the band to become an actor,i believe.hope he had a backup plan.

pretty sure Wrathchild America and Childs Play were Maryland based bands that played alot in PA.of course Shannon(WA drummer) is now in Godsmack.

unfortunately,i've never seen Kix.wish i had.i was supposed to see them once at an old movie theater turned venue but they cancelled.think it was '87.

how about TEEZE/Roughouse? or Hybrid ice?

I remember the name Freefall but I don't remember the band...not sure if I ever saw them.
Hybrid Ice! Used to see them a lot...they're actually playing again. Their guitarist had cowriting credits on Boston's mid-80's album IIRC.
Anybody remember Defiance and/or Bashful?

actually HI's guitarist was actually jamming with Boston few yrs ago.obviously not much came of it.In fact,Boston recorded a HYBRID ICE tune called Magdeline.they reworked it a little.but the song was already written as compared to a writing session to write new material.

i remember Defiance and their adds in PA musician, but i never seen them.

Bashful,i have seen and they were a very good rock band.i used to have a cassette by them.
