I just never paid attention to them.

What I know:

Cantrell used them and IIRC, he's working with Reinhold again.
Luke loves 'em.
Reinold is a character.

That's about it.

I dunno if you're going to get it until you play one, there is a "chewiness" to the feel, with a really refined grind, that makes a really cool combination. They have been some of my favorite and most disappointing amps at different times. Sorry it doesn't help much. :ROFLMAO:

Fat lows and low mids, smoother top end but can definitely be tweaked to be on the bright side. Elastic feel that I wouldn’t necessarily categorize as tight, but can be tweaked to be so if desired. Uberscahll is an entirely different animal that is more of an SLO/Rectifier mix. They’re incredible sweet spot for me is the 101B. Great cleans, good plexi type sound that’s reinholds own flavor, the blue channel is the best modded Marshall tone you’ll play, and the red channel can get really heavy and tight if tweaked and boosted.

They’re incredible to play feel-wise. I have a 101B, uberschall, and a Goldfinger 45 SL. They’re my favorite.

You know how sometimes you plug into one of your favorite amps, and it just isn't doing it for you that day? It occurred to me last night as I'm playing thru my Uber that it never happens with the Uber. The amp puts a smile on my face every. damn. time. There's something special in the mids. Yes, the bottom is thick and fat, but the mids are where that chewiness comes from.

One day, I'll get an Ecstasy

Blue channel 101B boosted is just addictive. Huge low end, chewy soloing that makes you want to dig in, and is just amazing. The clean channel is a fender deluxe copy. Red channel can be dialed in to Mesa mark category of gain.

Just a killer all around tone machine.

Great explanation. Unfortunately I have never been able to get on with them. I hear the new Snorkler and I'm kinda jonesing for it but I've owned three Bogners and it all ended the same, gone.

Most replies here are pretty accurate imo.

There are a wide range of Bogner amps and you can find one for any genre. I'm into metal and they have been some of the best and most devastating amps I've ever played.

I have had some issues with a Rev 2 Uber cutting in a band mix so they don't always work well with other amps but man.....they're pretty amazing to me.

What I wouldn't give to try out a Goldfinger 45 through some Ev's.....above my pay grade. Way above.

Ðo you have an opinion/any experience with the Uberschall?

Owned a 20th Anniversary Ecstasy w/ 6L6s. It's one of my favorite amps ever. It is extremely versatile, very usable gain at high levels and the Bogner chew.

A couple of models way different than anything else he's made that usually fly under search radars are the Brixton (12w) and Panama (4w). Very cool tones out of these little guys.

How do they behave in the high end? Smooth or do they have some high end sizzle? The later i would prefer.
