This is primarily an 80's hair metal forum, which means most members are likely in their 50's by now. As a kid, I always said; The older people get, the more intolerant they become. So far, I haven't seen anything that would modify my observation.

In some ways perhaps. I've noticed after a few decades on this planet, in some cases I'm getting milder and more nuanced.
One thing that I'm getting intolerant of is tough-guy posturing.

And I too did notice the comments of at least two posters that are NOT Krull, that did seem to veer towards physical threats.
"Blablah, it will be a short conversation and you won't like the outcome" and "meet my friends Smith & Wesson" come to mind.

Anyone can sound like a tough guy on the web, whether you're 12 or 52. I prefer just not needing to resort to that; shows more character and grit, methinks.

Questions about Fortin's ethics and build details grease the skids about 6 months ago (2019) Meshugga
Larry determines/announces that some of Mike's amps are a direct ripoff of his stuff
Specifically the 'bite and punch' aspects of Larry's that Mike renames 'girth and grind'
Forum threads ensue on Rig-Talk (and other forums)
The first 2 threads listed below were locked about a week ago
The last thread down there is Larry's where he outlines all of this in great detail
People still want to know more, discuss, buy Larry's amps, buy Fortin's amps

Let me know if I didn't get that right.

Personally, I feel like Mike probably did 'reuse' some of Larry's circuit ideas, but they were never protected to begin with and hard to enforce, especially in an industry where everything is basically a ripoff of something that came before it anyway.

That's why I keep posting cats and boobs. It's all a bit of a joke and also quite sad on both sides of the story and I don't have enough detail to make a decision one way or the other.

My position exactly.

I'm sure that some of it may get lost in translation, but what I have noticed is that every time someone (mildly) critisizes Larry here, those persons will typically get some form of backtalk in a pedantic/holier than thou way from him. Mostly uncalled for. If you're (so) great in what you do, why then still feel the need to belittle others? Have your products and reputation speak for itself.

IMHO, don't brag about 'not needing the money' constantly, when you're charging +$6k prices. Are you free to charge whatever you want? Sure, by all means. But then at least be humble about the rest of it. You mention 'being lucky that not everyone will/can buy your amps'. In the case of Peter Diezel the answer is yes. You must not have spent any time around him. Peter can be a little bitch too. Anyways, Krull is a cunt.
