Wow...nice work DBU. Those are great results for a first build. Very cool pedal. Can't believe you got rid of it.

Nothing wrong with that pedalboard Jon. You have a timefactor, right there that makes the pedalboard pretty darn nice

What type of pedal board would you guys recommend that could accommodate a Rockron Patchmate Floor 8 and about 9-10 pedals?

Trailer Trash!!

Lay your pedals out on the floor as you would like them, then just measure the area they take and buy accordingly.

Time to bring this thread up again...Pedalboardupdate!!!!

Yes, completed with a rumblefuzz.

Here's mine. All built by me :D the frame is 6061 aluminum and the top and bottom are 1/2" plywood. It has internal power for all the pedals and the back light for the logo in the front

Here is my (current) pedalboard:

The footswitch for the amp will be coming out, and a tuner going in. I may also add a digital delay after the CC, and/or remove the EQ. I have the power for the Whammy mounted underneath, with a small electrical cord going from the PP2's convenience outlet, through the frame of the platform, to the adapter.

Is it just me, or do a lot of these pedalboards look like they have never been used? Maybe they're fully utilized at gigs in Madison Square Basement? Or do you guys spit shine the pedals after every gig? Not knockin' anyone, just wondering how you keep them so clean?

Next time I'm at my rehearsal spot I'll take a pic and post it up. My board looks like it's seen one too many gigs in Chernoybl, during the meltdown! Still gets 'er done though!

My pics were taken right after I finished mine up. But I take care of my equipment.

My current set-up. Gonna ditch the BBE and replace with something better (Barber, MI Audio, CMAT, or something). Maybe add an MXR Micro Flanger or Chorus. Very basic, I don't like to worry about toe tapping too much.

These Pedal Pad boards are pretty good too. Lifetime warranty, Velcro sticks really well, nice hardware, and there is plenty of room underneath for cables and stuff. I reckon it would also be good to stash some pedals outta sight if ya wanna go for one of those Carl Martin or MIDI type switchers.

Very nice Gutmann.

The hotcake is a pedal that has been on my to try list for a long time, but I just have too many OD's as it is.

How are you liking the Polytune?

Polytune is great compared to the older DT-10 which I used before. Way faster and exacter and always cool if you want to check fast.
It's only working with standard tuning in the polymode.

The hotcake has a very nice sound with some dirt in it - this one and the rumblefuzz are the best sounding OD's I ever owned.
There are so many boring overdrives - these two are different!

rlord74, I figure most of these boards are in flight cases, and most of the abuse would probably go on to the switches, either on the pedals or the switchboxes, lol...

I hear you on the flight cases. But my board is in a flight case too, and it still looks like it has spent the past few years in the "trap" under the seat of a Johnny-On-The-Spot! :scared:

here is my $20.00 board, $16.00 just for the handles   I had to split mine for a mic stand to fit

Would it not be more logical to turn the mic stand's feet the other way? Firstly so you don't have to step over the leg, and secondly because if you hit the mic stand with your guitar or something by accident then it'll just fall over, off the stage.

just saying. :)

Maybe your stomps like to get dirty and possibly be abused a lil bit. Maybe they have Battered Stompbox Syndrome? :dunno:
