So, what speakers do all you Bogner folks run?

I have an Avatar 2/12 with GT100k speakers in it, and a Mesa 1 / 12 C90 Theile cab as well. With my older amp, I felt that the GT loaded cab sounded better, and the Mesa was overly bright to me... now with the XTC, I feel like the 1/12 is the better sounding cabinet.

So I guess my question to you all is, what speakers do you find to work best with these amps?

I use Marshall 1960A cab on stage and 1922 at home. Both equipped with GT12T-75's. Used to use V30's. Both speakers have its own flavour, but I find 75's more on hard-rock side (which is the style my band plays).

I am trying to retain some of my sanity by using whatever the amp builder recommends.

20thA X loaded with KT77s is running through a matching 4x12 RL with V30s.

So many find the 20th Shiva to be dark but I don;t hear that. I am not saying it is bright, but I don't find it dark at all!!! That is what worried me about V30s with it.
 
I generally don't like V30 but they work great and thus I use them with my Ecstasy!
 
Bogner highly recommends V30s (especially Chinese!) with Bogners so I went that route. Same with my Mesas....Mesa V30s for those.
 
I want some cabs with V30s and one with GBs!

If you like Greenbacks, you should like G12-65s!
 
V30s, CL80s, Greenbacks.

I am thinking G12-65s while great, are better with bright amps. G12k-100s are nice too but have alots of bass.
 
I think the smooth, slightly dark top end of the Bogners is a perfect match for the V30s. In other amps, they may sound offensive, but they match very well with Bogners.
 
20th XTC thru Mesa Traditional (smaller) 4x12 w/Mesa V30's or bogner OS 2x12 w/V30's
 
I like the Vintage 30 G12T75 mix. They need some break in time. If you buy them new and plug in, you will probably pull them out too quicky. Give them a chance to soften up a little.
 
It really depends what sound you're after. I have M75s and have also mixed them with H75s; won't ever use anything else.
 
I've tried my TJ through various cabs and the cabs that sounded best with it were orange and rivera cabs loaded with V30's
both, the rivera sounded abit better with the bogner imo.

I totally hate T75's with any amp\cab combo I've tried to date, the T75 marshall equipped cabs(1960A?)
is a really bad sounding cab imo.
