The Herbert can run multiple Cabs too right?
I know....I know....NOOB question! :D

With Herbert you can run 2. With VH4S you can run 4.
I think 2 is max for where i live.....
Neighbors already Cringe when they see my Drummer pull in the Driveway!

Mailman1971: have you tried the Herbert?
Sorry if i ask this but i've learned that gas not always give good advices. ;)

I've sold my VH4 and bought an Herbie 70% for the evil stuff he can make better (to my ears) than VH4.

I buy amps most of the time unheard. Sounds terrible but most of the high end ones arent around where I live. The ones that I dont care for....I move them and never take a real loss but gain the experience of hearing and playing it. So thats worth it to me.
I am sure the Herbert is suited more for what we play. I love the VH4 and if the Herbert isnt what I think it will be.....I will trade it for a VH4.
They hold their value extremely well and I have faith in the Diezel amps.

The same to me,
don't look back and enjoy the incoming Herbert. ;)

I think there is a reason why it seems it's easy to trade a Herbert for a VH4, but not so easy to trade a vh4 for a herbert.

I've done that before.

I've also bought brand-new from places with 30-day money back guarantees and have tested the gear out for 20 days, jammed with my band, etc. and then sent it back if I didn't like it. It's cheaper than spending £300 on a holiday to try the stuff out at the shop. And I can't bring my guitar with me, or my pedals or band mates (well, I don't have a band any more) if I go to the source of noise.

It's great fun buying stuff, anyway, even if you do trade it, send it back or sell it again. It's all part of the fun.

I got my Herbert without ever having played one, and I have never looked back.

I still gas for other stuff, but nothing so much that I would get rid of my Herbert to try. Whatever amps I buy in the future will be an addition to the family, not a replacement. Besides, I think my bandmates would kill me if I got rid of Herbie!!

Last night after re-arranging the rig in the room....
it was PURE TONE!!! :worship: :worship: :worship:
We ran thru a ton of Van Halen songs and I was shocked at how close this amp can get the BROWN SOUND.

Just cant let it go. :gethim:

Going to have to just SAVE for the Herbert. ;)
