some amp names bother me

i know it's dumb but rocktron reminds me of the movie tron with lame futuristic guys acting like max headroom...i sawed the rocktron logo off my eggie tol 100 because it bothered me so much! axe-fx kinda has that vibe name wise...synthetic robotic...

marsha and carol ann are the polar opposite of techno and pretty cool, but remind me of the brady bunch

vyper...just trying too hard to be exotic with the "y"

peacemaker, opal, trainwreck, lonestar, deliverance, ecstasy...those are pretty cool names and fitting to the amp

Yup, Dumble is just dumb sounding. Pretty much sums up the price of the amps IMO.

Line 6 "Spider" sounds cheap and lame too IMO.

Fender Metal Head sounds cheesy.

I also don't think Diamond is a very good name for an amp line. but they seem to sound pretty decent from the clips I've heard...maybe.

Ampeg came from the pick up being in the peg of the double bass, so it was an amplified peg, and they shortened it to Ampeg
