Bogner, and Egnater, have it right.

Just use your last name, write it in Brush-Script font, and GET ON WITH IT!

I love my Roccaforte's. Plus it is a cool name and it look's good on the amps (especially the script).

rock + forte is loud in musical terms...pretty accurate!

of course the one that stands out to me is egnater... reminds me of eggy or egghead.

i suppose that name could be rather odd for an amp but from day one all it did was conjure images of fat round pure TONE so maybe the egg imagery is accurate...plus i like eggs.

Kustom.... Remember there amps and cabs that looked like cheap diner seating? WTF was that? and metal flake in the vinyl plush padding.

It was meant to be used as furniture, sitting, sleeping on for band members while touring around in a Van and ect...

Maybe I will see if Mojo will make me a head like that for my Marshall

What about Engl? Is it pronounced EEENGLE or ANGLE? It's said both ways. Carol Ann amps sounds mighty wimpy. Orange is so super obvious and boring. Fender would be a car part if it wasn't someone's last name. I don't know, I got nothin' at this point! :D

Dumble reminds me of Dumbledore the Harry Potter character.
Roccaforte doesn't sound like an amp...I just hate saying it.
Krank bothers me too...but I own one.

ENGL - still dont know if its pronounced EN-GAL/EN-GEL,ENGL(like in engl'ish)
CORNFORD - reminds me of cornflakes
BUDDA - if it was green and had marijuana logo then it would be cooler
BADCAT - what do cats have to do with amps? pussy?
FRAMUS - Famous? hommus?
BUGERA - reminds me of the panther in the jungle book...except he was cool

i have a peavey nipple x

Diezel makes me think of this guy

hehe that's what I think too everytime I even see the word Diezel, or even Diesel. ;)

And back to the topic:

Bugera- sounds like Booger to me, in fact it sounds like cakefarts...
Line 6- sounds like an el cheapo assembly line always breaking down, and is one......

Apart from that, I can't really think of anything else. I get more bothered how the Marshall amp chassis is so blatantly copied by other amp companies. I dunno I reckon that look works for Marshall, but everyone else who does it, it just looks like a ripoff.

I never understood Line 6's name.

Why Line 6?

My logic goes like this:

- 6 with a line over it (like a repeating decimal); -- __
-that's like dividing 2/3 - .66666666666666666 OR - 6
-something to do with 666?

Maybe the developers are metalheads...who knows...

the first 5 product lines were abysmal failures

B-52... that's the worst name I can think of.

"Hey, I just got a wicked killer deal on this amp"
"What brand is it?"
"B-52"
"Can it do br00tz?"
"With a boost"

^ Something about the above dialogue is just... uggh... :aww:
