that choice is entirely up to you =) you already know who gets my vote..lol

I've been waiting on my Competition for about 9 weeks now. During this wait, I started to wonder if I should have held out for the Nitro. After seeing this video, I feel alot better about my choice. Don't get me wrong, that Nitro sounds fantastic. I just think the QR/Comp. sounds are better suited for me. They all sounded fantastic though.

Thanks for this video

That Super Stock head sounds like a killer amp...voicing sounds excellent!

Just the vid I was looking for although I do wish there was more rhythm playing going on. I'm totally gassing for my Nitro now!

yeah, the superstock rips pretty good as well..just in a different way..I didn't get a chance to play it...after playiin' the nitro through all the cabs then jammin' on the QR some more, I didn't wanna hog anything....really good AC/DC stuff commin' outta the SS

Were they playing it straight in or did they have a boost in front? If that amp takes pedals well, I would be interested in that one.

everything was straight through...scott built the superstock with the idea that people would run pedals in front at some point or another...with OD1 and OD2, I don't think you'd really need one..but it would be good for different flavors/versatility...

Have you ever tried the effects loop in his amps?

yep..I use a DD 20 in the loop for gigs...and I run a rocktron intellifex online in the loop at home for mousefart/baby's sleeping in the room next door late at night volumes as well

The Intellifex is my main effect as well. Is the effects loop pretty transparent? I've played some that just massacre the tone no matter what effect you are using.

the loop is pretty clear once you get it up a little louder..at lower volumes it does add color...but when you put it at gig levels (8:00 or so) it goes away...

 Good choice. I see one in my future too. I think it would compliment my higher gained Splawn modded 1987xl.
