Suggestion for Egnater

Can't wait to see what the two new modules are!

One thing I love about the egnater modules is that they all sound so good even when doing open chords and high distortion. Egnater is were it's at man. Egnater fan for life right here.

Well we license Randall to use the patent. There are items I cannot discuss as to why we cannot do this with others.

I will say this, everyone we have approached about doing a module has made the same statement. It will hurt our amp sales, we are not interested. That pretty much sums it.
What everyone also has forgotten due to our being so busy is that we do offer customization of modules. No one asks! I can provide just about anything to a end user right in house. You want a SL2 tighter or brighter...we can do that. It does not have to be done by an outside "modder". I mean I did the customs for TY...it's no different for Gene, or Eric or whoever.

Bruce and I had this discussion the other day. What is it that people use the internet to ask questions they know if they just asked us would be answered? I know we are busy but when it comes to our products, IE modules the amps...I drop everything. Now figuring out your problem with midi, or bad cables or whatever..ya I might not be that quick to respond. But modules come on I am playing and tweaking on them every day!

Thanks again Jeff! I can't wait to have let you "have fun" with my SL2 / EG3/4! :) They'll be going your way today! Can't wait to get my EG5 back. I've sure missed her!

Eric

If EGGY is modding their modules, I wouldn't want anyone else doing them.

Im not having any of my modules modded, But I will buy a modded module. I like what Salvation has done but that kind of money I want dual channels, call me spoiled but I started with the best (Egnater duals) and have a hard time buying a single. Well I do have the XTC module :D

I want a Marshally AC/DC to GNR module and a Carvin Legacy (Vai)to Alice in chains module. Both very doable I believe.

I think Jeff's email inbox is suddenly full of requests for new custom modules!

I think a lot of us may have similar interests in custom sounds
A lot of players we all love whose tones fall outside what the current range of Eggie modules covers
Jeff and Bruce will end up with a library of tweaks and mods with all the R&D time Jeff will be putting in.

I know I am 100% in love with the modules that I do have - there are just a few tones I like that fall slightly outside what my modules offer

To be fair it may be only a slight tweak or component change that nails it, but once it's nailed , it's silly grin time.

I too was guilty of thinking that Bruce and Jeff were way too busy to do this, but am overjoyed that this will not be the case.

I think I'd be on the same boat. I love my modules and wouldn't change them, but I can see myself getting a second one but modded to have both.
