I owned a Simul Coloseum with reverb and EQ. It was an awesome amp! Very loud, very tight. I was in a thrash band when I had it. I still kick myself for selling it. I traded it for a Quad Preamp at Lab Sound in Garden Grove. I bought it originally from Valley arts in N. Hollywood in early 85'

That is my post! Why does it state "Anonymous"? Weird....

I also used it when I was in Black Sheep and Biloxi back in the 80's. Still kick myself for selling it.....

There was a forum “upgrade” ages ago when it changed hands about every week that messed up old threads beyond a certain date. That interim owner is responsible for posts looking like that to trim the fat.

Grabbed mine off of @Beyond Black and since then had no fucking idea how rare they really are. Even moreso since this one has +/++ switchable, R2 mod, and was pentode converted in all slots - so it runs 6x 6L6GC.

Amps a monster.

Yes, that one is a loaded up creation of pure malevolence.

Tonal brutality for the hearing impaired

…or to make you hearing impaired.

Seriously though I get my mowing eat protection out cranking this thing. First time I did it without ear protection my ears rang for the rest of the night. Amps an out of body experience cranking 180W through two cabs. G12M aren’t known for throwing low end but with 180W you can make them do whatever the fuck you want them to 😂

here's some pics the seller sent me. It's not quite in my possession yet but it will be soon! and believe me I will post tons of pics when i get it :)
I owned and sold that amp, and installed the R2 VOL dymo label. Still looking for the Green Stripe long head with the Pentode/Triode switch on the far right far right.
