Just for fun thread. What guitar do you consider being the most suitable for thrash? Free criteria... Looks, good for fast riffing... Anything what comes to your mind :)

I suspect a flying V.
In my collection, it's my Explorer.
Something about that guitar encourages fast riffing and thrashy solos.

Here it is through a Wizard MC50:

That sounds great man. What’s the entire signal chain there, from guitar to microphone?

Thanks. Explorer with Godwood pups, straight into MC50, SM57 on a V30. I'll have to look back in Garageband and see if I added any reverb or delay. Can't remember.

Gutierrez Juggernaut
Charvel
Gibson explorer
ESP... most models

Ibanez Prestige with a wizard II neck .with 81 and 85 .thrash bliss for me

BC Rich Ironbird or Stealth.

I know I know they're used by Death Metal guys but they have the looks for thrash too. 👍

I saw a lot of ESP's and Dean Dime ML and V's at the thrash shows I went to last year

There is no best thrash guitar , just about anything will work if it's equipped correctly .

Anything from my stable is a thrash machine when it's in my hands. That is literally all I'm decent at.
But my faves are...
1. Gutierrez custom MLF (an absolute unit, built to be severely beaten)
2. Rico jr. Vixen (a literal dream piece, thank you scottosan)
3. Any of my Washburn Dimes or Dean RCMLF USA custom shops. (Big thanks to Elliott r.i.p.)
